Grandma Palmer and brand new baby William Joel Palmer
William was born on Great Grandma Palmer birthday.
Porter wasn't so sure about the whole new baby at first. But now he just thinks that William is the best thing ever. He is always concerned when "baby is crying". He also thinks that William should sleep with him in his bed at night.

Andelyn was so excited to see the New baby and the newness has not worn off at all. She is always wanting to hold William and is always tells me when baby is crying " Mom you need to feed the baby he is hungry." She loves to sing to him and so we usually find her laying next to him singing "Tinkle Tinkle little far" it is so cute. I try to correct her but sometimes I think why should I. I want to enjoy the cutness of it. One of the other funny things she will say to us is when she has to go potty she will announce to the world " Mommy can you help me I can't push it out of my body" and she usually will say it in a public bathroom. Talking about funny things that kids say Porter has started to talk and it has been such a blessing. However, you sometimes wonder where they learn certain words. They other day Porter comes out of his room with his pants and underwear down and says pointing to his bum, " on fire, on fire" ( he had a rash) then he proceded to ask Benton " Kiss better, Kiss better" So what would you do as a parent when your child innocently asks you to kiss there bare bum. It gave us a good laugh.

My wonderful husband and Proud Daddy!! William is just a few hours old.

Willliam Joel Palmer 9 lbs 4 oz 21 1/2 inches long born July 14, 2009

Well I decided that I should start writing and updating everyone on what is happening in our lives. Well to begin we finially had our sweet little William Joel Palmer July 14, 2009. We had a wonderful homebirth. (Yes, we actually had him at our house with a wonderful midwife.) He weighed 9 lbs 4 oz and was 21 1/2 inches long. ( Big Boy !!) We were a alitte worried about having a baby at the Ranch in the busy summer. But with the help of Gma and Gpa Palmer, Aunt Joelyn and Jessie, and my brother Cecil and his sweet wife Shannon we were able to survive the crazy summer months.
